Freelance trumpet player and educator Robert Redmond is active as a private teacher, music educator, and performer. Well versed in classical, jazz and rock, he can be heard performing in everything from pit orchestras and wedding bands to orchestras and wind ensembles.

Originally from St. Louis, MO, Robert Redmond is a seasoned musician and educator, boasting a diverse background in trumpet performance and music education. He earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Southeast Missouri State University and a Master of Music degree in Trumpet Performance from Oklahoma City University. His trumpet mentors include Mary Weber, Robert Souza, Dr. Marc Fulgham, and Michael Anderson.

Robert has traversed a diverse musical path, serving as an elementary music teacher, choir director, band director, church music director, and freelance performer across Missouri, Oklahoma, and Michigan. His teaching experience extends to institutions like Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids Community College, and Lindenwood University. Presently, he imparts his musical wisdom as a dedicated music educator within the School District of Washington, Missouri. 

Beyond his musical endeavors, Robert prioritizes family, finding fulfillment in quality time with loved ones and engaging in hands-on projects at home. Whether he's repairing toys, fine-tuning his work truck, or completing home-improvement projects, Robert's unwavering commitment to excellence permeates every facet of his life.
